Root Engineers founder and managing principal, Laura Breit, recently returned from Analytical Cannabis’ inaugural event, the Analytical Cannabis Expo. This extraction-focused presentation follows Laura’s presentation on HVAC equipment selection at the New England Cannabis Convention in March, as well as her participation on a panel at the Seed to Sale Show in February.
Laura’s presentation took place on April 1 as part of the pre-conference Cannabis Science Workshop. “Getting it Right the First Time: Regulatory Considerations for Extraction Operations” explored the different regulatory considerations that go along with producing extracts. Cannabis businesses preparing for the future of the industry are finding that the right design to support their extraction operation is increasingly critical. A wrong step in the early development stages can be extremely costly, especially if operations are facing inspection failure or lack of ability to scale with growth. Laura addressed many of these challenges head-on in her talk to help guide attendees through common processes.
Analytical Cannabis Expo took place April 1-3 in San Francisco. This unique cannabis industry event focused exclusively on cannabis extraction and testing science, showcasing the most important and exciting developments in the field. Technical talks and poster sessions were held by leaders in the industry dedicated to advancing the science of cannabis and driving the cannabis industry forward.
